"Delightful local in charming village on high ridge (the bromswold) not far from
the Northamptonshire border. The Green Man provides a congenial focus for a
small village community and attracts visitors from a wide area for good food and
an interesting ever changing selection of real ales.  Hood skittles is a popular
feature. A real fire adds atmosphere in the winter.

The Green Man was first licensed in 1650, operating as a farm cum
brew pub, the brew house being active until the beginning of the 20th
century. The entrance opens into a large lounge bar with many oak
beams and a fireplace and divides into a variety of areas. To the left is
a comfortable dining room, and to the right is a skittle alley leading to a
family/pool room. The pub sports a vast collection of pub memorabilia
(jugs, bottles, mirrors and brewery signs, many rare) Dominoes, and
various board games available
