| The Green Man was first licensed in 1650, operating as a farm cum brew pub, the brew house being active until the beginning of the 20th century. The entrance opens into a large lounge bar with many oak beams and a fireplace and divides into a variety of areas. To the left is a comfortable dining room, and to the right is a skittle alley leading to a family/pool room. The pub sports a vast collection of pub memorabilia (jugs, bottles, mirrors and brewery signs, many rare) and a collection of signed Giles cartoons. |
