The Greenman offers a full menu of great British pub food and bar snacks headed up by our incredible head chef Brendan Flynn and delicious desserts designed by Bake Off winner and landlady, Candice.
Here at The Greenman we are proud of our fresh, seasonal and local menu. Maintaining this quality means our menu changes regularly. For the daily menu just give us a call on 01525 288111 and we’ll let you know what’s on offer.
As all of our food is cooked and made fresh to order just let us know if there is something you fancy or if you have any specific dietary requirements and we will do our very best to cater to these for you.

We are now beginning to become fully booked on most days so we would suggest that you book in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Tables are based on a two hour sitting
A deposit of £5 per head for tables of 6 and over is required before securing a booking
Join us in testing your knowledge at our monthly pub quiz.
Starting at 7pm and teams of up to 6 people, it is only £5 per person to join in. There are also prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

In celebration of all things Gin, we thought we would bring you ‘Gin of the Week’ to get those taste buds flowing 💚
This week we are bringing you Bombay Sapphire paired with Rosemary + Black olive Franklin’s & Son’s tonic. A dash of homemade pomegranate syrup and garnished with lemon, pomegranate seeds and a sprig of rosemary.
We will be showing home nation games within our opening hours for the Rugby World Cup starting Sunday 22nd September at 11am (there will be no games being shown prior to 11am)

Our brother and sister landlords, Candice and Ben have pubs in their blood. After growing up in a pub it’s probably no surprise that when the chance to own one of their own came up, they jumped at it. They want The Green Man to be a pub for the whole community, where you bring your kids, your dogs and Nan for some great pub grub and a few pints. We have fabulous team here including our Bar manager Becks, Head of HR Sophie, Liam and the rest of the gang.
Whether it’s a crisp pint of lager after a long day at work or rich gravy on a Sunday roast - a pub is about comfort - it’s a home away from home where everyone is welcome. You might have seen my cooking on The Great British Bake Off but The Green Man is your chance to taste it.
We grew up in the pubs that Mum and Dad ran. We watched Dad pluck pheasants, skin rabbits and joint meat for Mum’s delicious pies. Now it’s our turn. I want The Green Man to be the sort of pub I remember. A place where you stop by for half, lose track of time and end up staying for dinner.
Updating a community pub that’s been around for nearly 200 years is a big job. Candice and Ben want to give their community a beautiful modern pub that also respects the history of our building. And what a history that is. Like most pubs The Green Man has a colourful past. It may have started its life as way for a charity to build a local library and support the church, but it also played host to sheep rustlers and a petticoat thief.
Candice and Ben can’t wait to write the next chapter in the life of this iconic Eversholt pub.
